Police are still dealing with plenty of youth crime on Hobart’s eastern shore.
On Sunday afternoon, members of the public alerted police after seeing a group apparently threatening a couple outside Banjos Rosny.
Police arrested two 15-year-olds and charged them with assault, while paramedics treated a 61-year-old man at the scene for injuries not requiring hospital treatment.
It follows the arrest of two boys aged 14 and 15 and a 16-year-old girl accused of robbing a Howrah bottleshop at knifepoint on Friday night before fleeing on a bus.
“Due to the good work of Bellerive, Clarence Plains, Road Policing Services and Metro Police, the bus was located and all three were arrested,” said a Tasmania Police statement.
“The 15 year old was detained for court while the other two youths were bailed to appear at a later date.”
