The programme for this month’s 21st Devonport Jazz Festival has been released.

This year’s event will run from July 27th to 30th, featuring events at 26 venues in and around Devonport, as well as at Port Sorell, Spreyton, Melrose and Ulverstone.

The featured artist for the festival will be renowned Australian jazz vocalist and trumpet player Vince Jones, who will perform at the Paranaple Arts Centre theatre on the Friday night of the festival.

The event has again attracted performers and visitors from all over Tasmania and interstate and will provide a considerable economic benefits for the local community.

Some events are ticketed sand will require booking, while many are free and don;t require booking.

The festival has been known for its distinctive yellow scarves, which will be out in force again later this month.
