A massive housing subdivision of almost 200 homes has been proposed for Ulverstone.
The staged development will see 189 homes built over 10 years on land on the northern side of the Bass Highway between Main Street and Trevor Street.
While the application lodged with the Central Coast hasn’t specified a cost, the project is believed to be a multi-million dollar investment.
Stage one of the development will include a new access road, connecting the subdivision with Main Street.
The finished subdivision will include noise barriers near the highway.
The 342-page proposal is currently open to public comment on the council’s website until July 15th.
Given that’s also the date of the next council meeting, the application could go to the council for approval or otherwise as early as its August meeting.
