The annual Walk The Talk event to raise awareness about domestic violence issues and show support for victim survivors will be held in Devonport on Sunday.
The walk, being organised by the Devonport Soroptimist and Zonta Clubs, will leave the Devonport Cenotaph at 11 am and finish at Aikenhead Point, where guest speakers will share their thoughts on the issue.
Less mobile members of the public invited to join at any point along the route, with all participants encouraged to wear orange.
So far this year 86 women in Australia have died as a result of domestic violence, 22 more than the whole of last year, with Tasmania having one of the highest rates of domestic violence in the country.
