The Devonport Choral Society’s production of the Full Monte has received eight nominations for the Tasmanian Theatre Awards.
The awards, named the “Errols” after Tasmanian-born Hollywood screen legend Errol Flynn, will be presented in Launceston on February 22nd.
The DCS is in the running for its eight Errols in the musical theatre category, including the prestigious best production award.
Mason Waller is up for best male lead, while Billy Hawkins and Campbell Mayberry have both been nominated for best supporting male.
The entre cast is in the running for best ensemble award, while Elizabeth Viney is up for the Errol for best choreography.
Belinda Gunson and Max Darvell have been nominated for best stage design, with Gunson going for her second Errol in a row, after winning in the same category last year for Freaky Friday.
