A hands-on and interactive science expo aimed at children and families is touring Tasmanian libraries, including visits to the North-West and West Coasts.
The exhibit, curated by Questacon, the National Science and Technology Centre, will spend two weeks each at libraries at Queenstown, Burnie and Smithton this month and at Devonport and Ulverstone Libraries next month.
The expo, titled Fascinating Science, will be a free interactive exhibition exploring key scientific principles in a fun hands-on way, allowing children and families to interact with fun scientific exhibits without having to travel too far.
It opens in Burnie on Monday, Queenstown on Tuesday and Smithton on Wednesday, running for two weeks at each library.
The expo moves to Devonport on March 6th and Ulverstone on March 7th.
