North-West Schools have played a part in the creation of Tasmania Devils AFL Club’s new mascot.
Rum’un the Devil has been unveiled one year after officially launching the team name, logo and colours.
The Mascot was brought to life by Tasmanian puppetry and theatre company, Terrapin.
Rum’un’s fur is created from recycled uniforms from schools across the state, including Burnie and Devonport High Schools, as well as Nixon Street primary in Devonport and Montello Primary in Burnie among others on the North-West Coast.
And the cheeky devil mascot wasn’t the only big announcement this week, with the club also revealing new membership tiers, ranging from $50 to $300 dollars.
