The company has lodged a development application with the Latrobe Council to extend the Rubicon Grove facility with an additional 34 beds, extend the car park and build a new community hub and 84 new independent living units at a cost of $45 million.

The units will surround the existing facility and will include a small number of multi-storey units.

Meanwhile, One Care is also planning to spend around $2 million on upgrades to Umina Park in Burnie, consisting of new amenities and social spaces for friends and families to gather, including an on-site cafe.
