Marinus Link has received the final Commonwealth approval needed, leading in to its construction phase.
Following approval under the EPBC Act last year, a Transmission and Infrastructure License has been issued under the country’s new offshore infrastructure regime.
Scheduled for completion in late 2030, stage one will see a 750 mega watt undersea cable layed from Burnie in the Northwest to Waratah Bay in Victoria.
