Ian Liley graduated from the University of NSW with his Bachelor of Optometry in 1980. From there he has worked on the North West Coast of Tasmania, having had a practice in Burnie as well as his

current practice in Ulverstone.

Through the Optometrist Association of Australia, Ian continually improves his knowledge by completing a number of recognised courses every year. This signifies his commitment to being up to date with the ever changing world of optics.

Ian specialises in comprehensive eye test, glaucoma, diabetic assessments, children’s vision, removal of foreign bodies, contact lens fittings and low vision assistance. Also eyesight reports, diabetic reviews and laser referrals.

Being a local resident and business owner, Ian supports the town of Ulverstone through school fairs, community events and being part of the Chamber of Commerce. When Ian is not in the practice, he spends time with his family and pet dog, enjoying snow skiing, forestry and restoring farm machinery.
