When and How to Watch the Royal Wedding 2018


The big day is approaching, and we want to make sure you don't miss a thing, so here are the highlights to look out for at your Royal Wedding Party for Saturday May 19.




6pm AEST – The Members of the public who were invited by Harry and Meghan to watch the wedding from outside Windsor Castle will arrive.

6:30-8pm AEST – Wedding guests will begin to arrive and take their seats inside St. George's chapel.

8:20pm AEST – We'll start to see the members of the royal family arrive and enter the St George's chapel.

8:45pm AEST – Harry and William (His brother, the best man and Duke of Cambridge) will arrive at St George's Chapel.

8:55pm AEST - Following royal tradition we'll see the Queen as the last member of the royal family to arrive just prior to the bride.

8:59pm AEST –  This is the moment you definatly don't want to miss as the bride Meghan Markle arrives at the Chapel with flowergirls and pageboys. This will be the first time that we will get to see her in her wedding dress, The whole world will be watching.

9:00pm AEST – The Royal Wedding service begins.

10:00pm AEST – Harry and Meghan will leave St. George's Chapel as husband and wife. This will be shortly followed by the rest of the royal family and then guests.

10:05pm AEST – Harry and Meghan will travel by carriage in procession through the streets of Windsor.

4:00am AEST – They say goodbye to Windsor Castle and to head to the reception at Frogmore House. It is said that around 200 guests will be hosted by Prince Charles.

On Saturday May 19 there's a special coverage of the Royal Wedding with Melissa Doyle and Michael Usher in a special studio that was purpose built overlooking Windor Castle.


The ABC will be airing the royal wedding live from 7:30pm on Saturday May 19 and also streaming the broadcast on the service iView.


On Foxtel we'll see UKTV broadcast the BBC’s live, uninterrupted coverage of the royal wedding. This will include when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchange vows and the Carriage Procession.

Channel 9

From 7pm on The Nine Network with Today show host's Georgie Gardner and Karl Stefanovic who are in London at Windsor.


Now it's time to sit back and enjoy the day, perhaps lay on a high tea to toast the newlyweds, some Scones with Jam and Cream perhaps?
