Disney Studios was at CinemaCon to confirm that “Avatar: The Way of Water” will be the title of the first of James Cameron’s four planned “Avatar” sequels.
They also confirmed the teaser trailer for the highly anticipated film will be attached to Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”.
A week after that teaser is released in cinemas it will be dropped online officially. But a whole week means it's likely "unofficial" versions will be available almost immediately.
Just in case you didn't get enough Avatar the first thousand times Cameron’s original film is set to be re-released in theatres on September 23rd with newly remastered picture and sound.
Jon Landau who produces the films stated that "each of the planned four sequels will play out as a standalone story and feature its own conclusion".
In the film, Jake Sully (Played by Aussie Actor Sam Worthington) lives with his newfound family formed on the planet of Pandora. A familiar threat returns forcing Jake to once again step up with Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) and the army of the Na’vi race to protect their planet.
“Avatar: The Way of Water” opens on December 16th
