With less than a month until the release of season 3 of the hit series Westworld, HBO have dropped the official trailer.
The trailer centres largely around fan favourite Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) as she enters a new world, “I was born into this world, and my first memories of it are…pain."
Dolores - who narrates part of the trailer - introduces her latest journey in the opening 25-seconds, “for my kind, there was one place we were never allowed to go, one place we were never allowed to see…YOUR WORLD.”
It is here in the real world (your world) that Dolores interacts with a new member of the cast Aaron Paul. She tells Paul’s character that the pair are in fact a lot alike “they put you in a cage and decided what your life would be. They did the same to me.”
And they set about taking down a mystery person who took away the future of Paul, but their journey doesn’t come without a few run-ins with key Westworld characters including a showdown between Dolores and Maeve.
