Ulverstone Lions Club Expands Community Shop with a new Used Furniture Store

The Ulverstone Lions Club Community Shop is expanding its services to the local community with the opening of a new used furniture shop at 45 Queen Street, Ulverstone, formerly Jan’s Fabric opposite the IGA in West Ulverstone.

The new store will offer a range of quality pre-loved furniture at affordable prices, helping local residents furnish their homes while supporting the Lions Club’s ongoing community projects and charitable work.
A spokesperson for the Ulverstone Lions Club said the expansion reflects growing community support and increasing demand for affordable and sustainable shopping options.
“This new shop allows us to extend our support to the community while giving good-quality furniture a second life. Every purchase directly helps fund Lions projects that benefit people in the Ulverstone area,” the spokesperson said.

The used furniture shop official opening will be on February 4th, 2026 and will be open Wednesday to Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The new furniture outlet complements the existing Ulverstone Lions Club Community Shop and reinforces the Club’s commitment to recycling, affordability, and community service.
