Ulverstone Municipal Band Annual Christmas Concert
The Ulverstone Municipal Band (UMB) is a not-for-profit community brass band with a learner, development and senior band.
UMB is currently B Grade State Band Champions and participate heavily in the community. Recently performed at the Penguin 150th celebrations, UMB is currently rehearsing for their Christmas concert and the upcoming Christmas parades and carols.
The concert will feature the band, also Daniel Quaile singing, and Micah and Jeshua Jewell performing a world wide first performance of a beautiful instrumental duet of “The Vow”, accompanied by the band, the band accompaniment was written especially for us. It is a beautiful cornet and euphonium duet written by William Himes and arranged for brass band by Andrew Wrainwright.
