ZONTA – Build a better world for women and girls

The Zonta Club of Cradle Coast is calling on the North-West Tasmania community to stand together against gender-based violence at a special community BBQ in Ulverstone on Saturday, 28 November, as part of the global 16 Day of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

At the Heart of the event will be a powerful and confronting display of orange shoes, each pair representing a woman or child whose life has been lot to violence in Australia during 2026.

The free community BBQ will be an opportunity for residents to connect, lean more about gender-based violence, and find out where support is available.

Local support organisations have also been invited to participate, providing information about services available to people experiencing violence and those seeking to support someone else.
