1,684 new cases of Covid-19

Tasmania has recorded another 1,684 new cases of Covid-19.

The figures slightly up from yesterday, but active Coronavirus numbers are continuing to fall.

193 people are in hospital with Covid-19, 52 of those people are being treated specifically for Coronavirus symptoms.

Two people are being cared for in the ICU.

591 people are using the COVID@Homeplus program.

Public Health is monitoring 9,561 active cases across the state.

Sadly, two more people have died this week.

A woman in her late 60s has passed away in the North and a woman in her late 50s has passed away in the South.

Their deaths take the State toll to 118 since the pandemic began.
