10 counts of fraud have been laid against a Sydney man who’s accused of fleecing Hobart local out of $215,000 in March last year.
The 41 year old is claimed to have presented himself as a banker offering an investment opportunity in a bogus oil company in Texas.
Police claim he has previous convictions for similar fraud interstate.

He was extradited by Glenorchy detectives for a Hobart Magistrates Court appearance today (Friday).
