9/11 Bottleshops sold to Coles Liquorland

The Federal Group has sold its 9/11 Bottleshops business to Coles Liquorland.

The group operates 20 bottleshops around the state, including four on the North-West Coast.

Federal Group managing director Greg Farrell says the sale will allow the group to focus on its core business in hospitality and tourism.

Mr Farrell says 9/11 employees will be offered employment with CVoles on terms no less favourable than current conditions.

9/11 has three bottleshops on the Coast attached to hotels at Mackey’s Royal Hotel at Latrobe, Furner’s Hotel in Ulverstone, and the Federal Hotel at Wynyard, as well as a stand alone 9/11 Bottleshop in Oldaker Street in Devonport next to the Hill Street Grocer.
