The newly-formed North West Amputee Group will be holding an open day in Wynyard on Saturday.
Part of National Amputee Awareness Week, the event will run from 11am to 4pm at The Watershed.
Group spokesman and amputee Garth Johnstone says the free event will feature speakers and an exhibition and is open to all amputees, people with a limb difference, their families, carers and support service providers.

The exhibition will include orthotics and prosthetics providers, physical therapists, NDIS plan management, mobility aid providers, and other support services.
