Bass Strait Wind Zone Declared

Wind farm investors can start working towards whether they want to be involved in developments in the Bass Strait.

A wind zone 30 kilometres instead of 20 off the coast of northern Tasmania has been declared and its size is less at 7100 square kilometres.

Adjustments were made due to feedback and now state Energy Minister Nick Duigan (left in above photo) is consulting on how to get the ball rolling.
