A 36 year-old man has been charged with numerous firearm, stealing and drug-related offenses.
It comes after eight cars were burgled in the Kingborough area over a three-day period.
The investigation leading to the search of a home in Kingston – where police say they located an unregistered firearm, a trafficable quantity of methylamphetamine as well as a large amount of stolen property.
The alleged offender has been charged with multiple offences including possessing an unregistered firearm, possessing a firearm when not holder of a licence, possessing ammunition when not holder of a licence, trafficking in a controlled substance, aggravated burglary, 2 counts of stealing, 4 counts of burglary, as well as motor vehicle stealing.
