It’s cricket finals galore across the North-West Coast this weekend.

Saturday will see the Mersey Valley Cricket Association grand final between Don and Turners Beach.

Reigning premier Don is favoured to go back to back after finishing on top of the ladder and winning its past 12 matches in a row.

Saturday is also preliminary final for the Burnie Cricket League, with Stowport and West Ridgley to do battle to decide who will meet Riana in next week’s grand final.

Meanwhile, the Coast’s premier cricket competition Cricket North West will see two two-day semi-finals over the course of the weekend, with the winners of the Ulverstone-Burnie Hurricanes and Sheffield-Devonport matches to play each other in next week’s three-day grand final, which starts on Friday.

And, the Greater Northern Raiders women’s team, which includes a number of Coastal players, will play North Hobart in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League women’s grand final at Invermay on Sunday.
