Three North-West non-for-profit organisations working with young people are among 17 statewide sharing in $145,000 in grants from My State Bank.
The grants are from the My State Foundation, which has allocates more than $2.6 million to 149 Tasmanian organisations since its instigation in 2001.
This year’s grants range in between $3,000 an $10,000.
My State managing director and CEO Brett Morgan says the grants will help build a brighter future for young people across the state.
Coastal groups receiving funding this year include Devonport-based Youth, Family and Community Connections, which has received $10,000 to help run its ARVOs porgramme.
The Ulverstone Surf Life Saving Club has received $3000 to assist it’s Starfish Nippers programme, while Devonport-based Respect Communications gets $6000 for its Horses Hepling Humans.
