More funding for public dental care will make headway on a long waiting list, according to the state government.
An Auditor General report shows there were 15,000 on the general dental care waiting list last year, with a median wait time for patients at nearly four years.

“Our government delivered a policy at the last election of four million dollars for an additional 20,000 dental appointments into the community, I have considered that report carefully and that’s why we will deliver on our promises.”
