North-West Coasters are being asked to consider rolling their sleeves up to donate blood over the festive season.
Australian Red Cross Lifeblood says 850 donors are needed nationally daily between now and January 2nd, including more than 30 every day in Tasmania.
Donor centres, including Burnie and Devonport will be open during the festive season, including some public holidays.

Lifeblood executive director of donor experience Cath Stone says the need for blood doesn’t stop during the festive season.
