Thousands of passengers have been queuing at Melbourne Airport on Tuesday morning waiting to be re-screened following a security breach.
Qantas says a passenger inadvertently passed from an ‘unscreened’ area to a ‘screened’ area of the airport.
The delays likely to have a flow on effect around the country.

Hobart’s 9am Jetstar flight to Melbourne has been delayed by nearly an hour.
“Just total disorganisation, I think Qantas need to be taken across the coals for this, it’s appalling,” said one passenger at Tullamarine.
“The staff are trying to do their best, but there’s no one from any management positions here sorting things out.”
