Footy finals fever grips the North-West Coast this weekend in three Coastal competitions.
Tomorrow is grand final day for the Burnie-based Darwin Football Association, with the season decider at Wivenhoe featuring Queenstown and South Burnie.
Meanwhile, further along the Coast in the NWFA, the preliminary final tomorrow between Turners Beach and Motton-Preston at Spreyton will decide who plays Wesley Vale in next week’s grand final.
In the Coast’s premier competition, it’s the first weekend of finals, with the qualifying final at Wynyard tomorrow between Wynyard and Burnie, and the elimination final on Sunday at Latrobe between Latrobe and Ulverstone.
The winner of that game will meet reigning premier Devonport in the in the second semi-final on September 9.
The as-yet this season unbeaten Magpies earned the week off after finished the regular season on top of the ladder.
