International exposure for Coastal producers

15 Tasmanian food and beverage producers, including as number from the North-West Coast, have been showcased at Asia’s largest food and beverage trade show.

The Foodex Japan 2025 event in Tokyo attracted thousands of visitors and featured exhibitors from more than 60 countries.

Premier and Trade Minister Jeremy Rockliff says the event gave producers the chance to show off Tasmania’s exceptional food and beverage offerings, while strengthening Tasmania’s trade relationships with key markets in Asia.

Mr Rockliff says the exposure was invaluable, providing opportunities to make direct connections with international buyers.

Coastal producers who attended the expo included Hill Farm Preserves, from Sisters Beach, Australian Honey Products, at Sheffield, Spreyton Cider, King Island Beef, Ghost Rock Wines at Northdown, and Smithton-based Greenham Meats.
