Penguin and Cradle Mountain are among the locations being used by an international film crew on the Coast this week.
Filipino-based MAVX is well-known in Asia for producing high quality movies, documentaries and television shows for Netflix Phillipines and other channels – some of them on worldwide release.
The film currently in production has the working title of Road Trip – The Australian Adventure.
The Central Coast Council will host a reception for the crew and cast at Penguin Railway Station meeting room on Saturday.
Central Coast Mayor Cheryll Fuller says members of the public are welcome to attend the event between 9 and 10 am.
Councillor Fuller recently hosted MAVX president Erwin “Lucky”Blanco on a recent site visit and was able to showcase iconic locations around Penguin and along the North West Coast.
