A Swansea couple will likely die behind bars after a Launceston jury found them guilty of a 2009 murder.
12 men and women took nine hours to find 71-year-old Cedric Harper Jordan and Noelene June Jordan, 68, guilty of murdering their former son-in-law.
The pair gunned down Shane Barker outside the victim’s Campbell Town home, shooting him four times with a pump action .22 rifle that’s never been found.
The crown alleged it was to get him out of their daughter and granddaughter’s lives.
There was a tearful reaction from Mr Barker’s family but the Jordans showed no emotion as the verdict was announced on Wednesday morning.
A 10-week trial heard from more than 100 witnesses.
