Latrobe has the most expensive houses on the North-West Coast, according to the latest Domain Australia House Price Quarterly Report.
The report for the June quarter shows the Latrobe municipality, which includes the fast-growing Hawley and Port Sorell areas, has the highest average price on the Coast, at $596,000.
The Latrobe municipality is also showing the biggest growth for the past 12 months, with the average price going up by 11.4% over the past year.
However, Central Coast is hot on Latrobe’s heels, mainly thanks to rapid growth in the Turners Beach area.
The report says the average price of $534,000 for the June quarter for Central Coast is reflected in an increase of 9% for the year.
Devonport sits third on the table with an average house price of $480,000 and an increase of 5.5 per cent.
However, Devonport still has the strongest growth over the past five years, with average prices jumping up by an impressive 77.9%.
