Police believe they’ve caught a cyclist responsible for a dangerous stunt on the Tasman Bridge this week.
Alarmed motorists posted footage of a man standing on a motorbike on one leg.
Police arrested an 18-year-old Bridgewater man on Wednesday night after responding to reports of a car hooning at Montague Bay.
On further inquiries he’s been linked to the bridge incident as well.
He’ll face court later this year on charges including reckless driving and abusive language to police.
“Police will continue to target, investigate and hold motorists to account for dangerous driving,” said Senior Constable Hayden Williams.
“We’d like to thank members of the public for their assistance in this matter, which helped us to get a quick resolution.”
The car allegedly used on Wednesday night has been clamped for three months.
