A driver has been taken to the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) in a critical condition, after a serious crash.
Police were called to Breadalbane at around 4:30am this morning, following a serious single motor vehicle crash at Evandale and Hobart Road.
The vehicle was being driven by an 81-year-old man, who was the only occupant at the time.

The driver was treated by Ambulance Tasmania at the scene, before being taken to the LGH.
Crash investigators are piecing together the events leading up to the crash and are urging all witnesses to come forward.
