A NSW man accused of sexually abusing a child at a Moonah optometry practice in the 70s and early 80s will be extradited back to Tasmania this week.
A Wollongong court has refused the 75-year-old bail following his arrest on Sunday on six charges relating to a girl who was aged between 6 and 10 at the time.
The Illawarra Mercury reports the accused allegedly indecently assaulted the child while her mother was undergoing an eye test.

He’ll face Hobart Magistrates Court on Friday.
