A bit of rivalry’s been served up to Coastal mayors in a “dare” to top Launceston’s fundraising effort for Motor Neurone Disease.
20 Launceston City Council workers took the Big Freeze plunge on Wednesday where they slid into ice water on a chilly morning.
They raised nearly $3000 and Launceston Mayor Matthew Garwood (pictured taking the plunge) is taunting his counterparts in other regions to do the same or better.
