Police are seeking public information as they search for 47-year-old Craig who has been missing from Smithton since the 26th September.
“Over the past week police have conducted a number of searches in Smithton and the surrounding area to locate Craig,” Acting Inspector Martin Parker said.
“At this stage Craig has not been seen since about 12:40pm on Saturday 26 September 2026 when he was in the area of the Smithton township.”
“This week multiple police resources, including members of Western Marine, Western Search & Rescue, SES and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, have continued the search for Craig in and around the Smithton area.
“Western Search & Rescue members and SES members have searched bushland areas in the vicinity of greater Smithton and the Duck River.
Craig is described as tall, with brown eyes, short/shaven sides grey hair, and wears reflective sunglasses.
When he was last seen he was wearing a yellow and navy high-vis long sleeve shirt, dark pants and dark shoes.
“Police and family are concerned for Craig’s welfare and ask that if he is aware a search is being conducted for him, that he make contact to let people know he is ok.”
Police request that people residing in the Smithton area who have C-C-T-V systems that cover footpaths and streets, review their systems for footage on the afternoon of 26 September 2026, for a male matching the description of Craig.
