A new state-of-the-art native wildlife hospital has opened at Gunns Plains.
The new facility will replace the former hospital at Wings Wildlife Park, which was destroyed in the 2022 floods, which impacted much of the North-West Coast.
Wings received $420,000 from State and Federal Governments to establish the new hospital through the jointly-funded Community Assets Programme through the Disaster Recovery Fund.

The hospital wasn’t just the only part of the park affected by the floods and Premier Jeremy Rockliff says the State Government have also contributed an additional $300,000 in support to the operators.
