Only a few days left to apply for your $100 tourism voucher

Registrations for $100 State Government vouchers for the Eat Local Stay Local programme will close on Monday.

The scheme is part of a $10 million package to support Tasmanian tourism and hospitality businesses during the quieter winter months.

Vouchers will be allocated by ballot, with successful applicants advised from June 23rd onwards.

The vouchers can be used to purchase and complete an eligible activity between July 1st and October 31st provided you spend at least $50 in a single transaction.

West by North West Tourism CEO Gabriella Conti says there’s plenty of ways to spend the voucher locally, including at coffee shops, pubs and restaurants, or traveling to to the West Coast or King Island.
