A woman has been taken to hospital with a gun shot wound to her leg after an incident last night in South Launceston.
Police responded shortly before midnight last night to reports of shots being fired into a shed in Leslie Street.

The 36-year-old woman was take to Launceston General Hospital.
Her injuries are not life threatening.
Police say the incident is between people known to each other.
