Tasmania Police is appealing for witnesses to a string of offences committed between Hobart and Devonport.
Two Mercedes GLC250 SUVs were stolen from a Hobart address and involved in several incidents in the early hours of Saturday August 20th.
The vehicles were used to enter businesses in Deloraine, Sassafras and East Devonport.
In Deloraine, unknown offenders drove the vehicle through the front of driving the vehicle through the front of Deloraine Newsagency on Emu Bay Road, taking a small quantity of jewellery and cash.
A vehicle was reversed through the front window of the East Devonport Newsagency on Wright Street East.
A large quantity of cigarettes was stolen.
Offenders have also kicked in the front door of the United Service Station on the Bass Highway at Sassafras, stealing more cigarettes.
The property stolen, and damage caused is believed to be worth over $300,000.
Police have since recovered the two vehicles, investigations continue today.
