Police want to hear from two women who gave a ride to a West Ulverstone man on Saturday night, who later died in the Royal Hobart Hospital.
21 year-old West Ulverstone footballer Brady Hubbard sought medical attention on Monday and was air-lifted to Hobart, where he passed away on Wednesday afternoon
Police are investigating whether he fell from the rear of a vehicle.
They believe Mr Hubbard was given a lift from near the football club in Amy Street to Wynyard by two women in a small white car, but they say the women aren’t in any trouble as they try to piece together the circumstances of the evening.
Police are also calling for anyone who can help with information on what happened in the lead-up to Mr Hubbard’s injury to contact Ulverstone Police on 131 444.
A Go Fund Me page set up to assist his family has so far raised more than $9000.
