Work is continuing on repairs and resurfacing of sections of the Bass Highway in coming days and weeks, while the Department of State Growth takes advantage of the warmer weather.
Night works are continuing near Don and Stony Rise between 5.30 pm and 7.30 am.
Normal daytime repairs are also continuing on sections of the highway near Britton’s Swamp, Latrobe, Devonport, Elizabeth Town, Sisters Creek and Ulverstone.
Additional resurfacing of the highway between Winspears Road and Moriarty Road, Latrobe, will start on Friday and continue through until next Thursday.
Inspections of the Emu Bay Bridge at Wivenhoe will also be undertaken next Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Department of State Growth says reduced speed limits and occasional lane closures will be in place on all sites and is reminding motorists to obey all signs and directions from road workers and drive to the conditions.
