Devonport-bases Searoad Logistics has opened a new $16 million dollar state of the art freight and storage facility in Launceston.
The 15,000 square metre complex at Kings Meadows includes a 5,800 square metre storage facility four times the size of the previous operation at Youngtown.
Searoad executive chairman Chas Kelly says it’s a significant investment by Searoad and will enhance the company’s operational capabilities.

Searoad operates a dedicated freight shipping service between Devonport and Melbourne six days a week and also has a large cargo transport fleet and storage facilities.
