The Devonport Strikers have secured back to back Tasmanian National Premier League soccer championships with three rounds to go, with a 5-0 win over Launceston United on Wednesday night.
Brodie Denehy scored a hat-trick for Devonport, with Spanish import striker Roberto Fernandez Garrido hitting the back of the net twice.
Strikers president Drew Smiths says the club is hopeful of securing Garrido again next year, but is pleased coach Tom Ballantyne will be definitely returning for a third year.
The Strikers have now won the NPL title six times in the past 10 years, with a remarkable record of 131 wins from 161 games, as well as 12 draws.
