Improvements interstate has left Tasmania with Australia’s highest unemployment rate of 4.2% for October in new ABS data.
At 6.8%, this state also has the highest underemployment rate where workers want more hours.
Particpation, a sign of confidence in job hunters of securing work, is also the weakest in the nation.

The national rate dropped to 3.4% as 32,000 people found work last month.
