Tasmania continues to buck the winter trend, with Coronavirus numbers falling once more.
309 new cases have been recorded in the past 24 hours, down slightly on yesterday’s figures.
47 Covid-positive people are in hospital statewide, 19 of those patients are being treated for Coronavirus symptoms.
202 people are using the COVID@Homeplus program.
Three people are in the ICU.
The death toll has held steady, with 176 Tasmanians passing away from Covid-19 since the pandemic began.
The current risk of Covid-19 in the community is moderate.
Premier Jeremy Rockliff is reminding Tasmanians of the importance of reporting positive test results.
Locals who test positive for Coronavirus can register your test here, or by calling the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738 to ensure you have access to COVID@homeplus if you require it, as well as access to anti-viral medications if you are eligible.
In the meantime, Public Health has recommended wearing a mask in all indoor public places and on public transport, and in other settings, if you can’t physically distance.
Masks must still be worn in all our public hospitals.
