A Hobart man is using his experience to raise awareness of how important regular prostate testing is for men.
51-year-old Rick Bennett was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2019 aged 47 and he underwent surgery last year.
He regularly tested for prostate cancer from the age of 40 and urges all Tasmanian men to do the same.

Mr Bennett is now back to full health and has returned to cycling, competing in Melbourne’s 220 kilometre Around the Bay event in October.
