Regional Express Airlines has cut a number of services in New South Wales, but says Tasmanian routes will remain in tact.
Rex currently provides daily services from Burnie and Devonport to Melbourne as well as King Island services and recently added the Hobart to Melbourne route to its schedules.
The cuts in New South Wales will see seven regional services to Sydney dropped, while another in Far North Queensland will be suspended for the rest of the year, along with the Adelaide-Mildura route, to be reviewed at the end of the year.

Rex was also recently named Australia’s most punctual and reliable airline, ahead of QANTAS, Jetstar and Virgin.
