The proponents of the $40 million Stony Rise Village retail development in Devonport are expected to announce details some of the outlets to go into the complex.
Woolworths has already been announced as the anchor tenant and Chemist Warehouse has also been confirmed, while there’s been speculation about liquor chain Dan Murphy’s also becoming a tenant.
In a post on its Facebook page, developer Tipalea Partners says leasing is in full swing and updates will be provided soon.
CEO Scott Spanton says the company is aiming to start construction later this year, aiming to be completed by last next year.
Mr Spanton says Tipalea is currently working through traffic solutions, leasing progress, design updates and construction costs, with the aim of hosting a community update meeting in early March.
